I actually bought her and Vera at the pet store connected to one of the local animal hospitals. They accept litters of kittens, test for FeLV and FIV, de-worm, and vaccinate the kittens, then sell them in the shop for \$39 each. (Pretty good deal!) I was standing at the counter waiting for the clerk to get a price on the Simple Solution I'd ordered and was there to pick up, doing my best to keep my eyes averted from the cages of kittens in the back. I almost managed it. But a little white flash caught my eye and I just had to go look. There was the most beautiful, fluffy white little girl lying on her back, juggling a small burlap mouse between her front paws. As I was trying to get a better look at her, there was this petite tuxie all but throwing herself at the cage door to get me to notice her. She kept getting in between my face and the white kitten. I've got more heart than brains, so both of them came home with me. Such a little baby! Mysz is a little acrobat, a winsome clown, a vocal complainer, and a sweet, warm, purring, cuddling bundle of love. She's quite fond of grooming the tip of my nose, and insists on sleeping under the covers. She's a kissy-face demon; I don't think I've ever known such an in-your-face cat (literally) in my life. She's sleek, solid, and a total mama's girl. Looking for trouble to get into She's my sleeping companion - she must be curled up between my arm and torso, usually with her front paws on my upper arm, body tucked down onto her paws, chin on my shoulder. If it's cool and I'm under the covers, so much the better; I've had kittens that liked to sleep under the covers but they eventually outgrew it. I don't think Mysz ever will.
